ACTION ALERT –  Inaugural National Life Without Parole Awareness Day Saturday, October 24, 2026

Saturday October 24th is the first-ever National Life Without Parole Awareness Day. Together, our coalition of 27 regional and national organizations is bringing extreme sentencing reform and human dignity to the forefront. This is a 100% decentralized, digital day of action; no physical travel or gathering required, just a synchronized, powerful collective voice across our networks.

To prepare our supporters, advocates, and networks for action this weekend, the official social media toolkit and digital media folder are now live.

How You Can Help Us Maximize Reach This Week:

  1. Pass This to Your Comms Lead: The toolkit includes 5 flexible options with scripts, ready-to-use graphics, and platform captions with hashtags.
  2. Share with Your Wider Membership & Advocates: We strongly encourage you to forward this toolkit beyond your comms desk. Share it with your staff, board, volunteers, and member networks who are eager to post from their personal accounts to amplify our shared message.
  3. Post All This Week & Queue Posts for Saturday, October 24: We are asking everyone to post at least once on Saturday, 10/24 but we encourage posting throughout the week as well.
