Oklahoma AG Drummond – Executions Weigh Too Heavily on Guards

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond filed a motion to space out seven upcoming executions to allow the state Department of Corrections (DOC) more time between each event, stating current pace of executions is unsustainable. Dummond argues that current schedule of executing a death-row inmate roughly every 30 days is placing too much of a burden on prison staffers.
